Romania recommended to investors

Prices are rising in Romania
27/8/2008
Romania has been identified as a potentially lucrative market for investors looking to purchase an overseas property.
Damien Thiery, managing director of Romanian Properties, stated that the country was currently experiencing a steady rise in the cost of housing, with homes in some regions doubling in value, reports NUWireInvestor.com.
He recommended the country to buyers, saying that the Eastern European nation could hold some of the best-value properties on the continent.
Mr Thiery commented: "Despite the continuous rise of the prices of real estate properties, the market in Romania offers still the most attractive investment opportunities among all other countries in the EU."
The 150-mile Black Sea coastal region has been pointed to by another property firm in the country as a location with potential for profit.
Romania was recently listed by Standard & Poor's as an excellent frontier market for people looking to invest outside established countries.
