How do I get to the venue?

Glasgow's international airport is a 15 minute drive from SECC and provides direct access to and from major European and North American cities. The city sits on the nation-wide transport system with fast rail and road access to all the UK's principal cities. Click here for detailed directions to the venue.

How much does it cost to visit the show?

Entry to the show is free of charge. Visitors will also receive a free exhibition catalogue. In addition there will be a comprehensive programme of property related seminars. Seminars are also free of charge.

If I register online how do I get my entry ticket?

When you register online, we will issue you with an admission e-ticket. This service is available to any visitor providing they have a valid e-mail address. Your e-ticket will be stored on the Homebuyer online booking system which and can be accessed at any time by logging in to the Visitor Area of the website. Upon registration you will be issued with an e-ticket confirmation email. This will be sent to your email address immediately after you have made your booking and therefore it is important to spell your email address correctly. To gain admission to the show you must print your e-ticket(s) from the visitor login area of the website and bring it with you.

Is there anywhere convenient to park around the venue?

On-site parking is available for 3,000 vehicles at £3.50 per day, including disabled parking bays. For more details click here.

Are there any hotels near the venue?

SECC is located within easy reach of the major city centre hotels as well as smaller hotels and guest houses in the city's west end. There are also two on-site hotels: The Glasgow Moat House Hotel, which is connected to the SECC by a covered link, and the City Inn. In September 2003, a third hotel, the Campanile, opened.

Is my admission ticket valid for all three days of the show?

Yes, your admission ticket entitles you to visit the exhibition on all 3 days.

What is the benefit of booking an e-ticket in advance?

You will be notified directly of any items of interest (e.g. seminars, debates) added to the programme plus any special offers that may arise prior to the show opening.

Can I register and purchase an e-ticket for somebody else?

Yes, when you register you can reserve up to 10 e-tickets in total.

Why is there a barcode on the e-ticket?

We scan barcodes to verify registrations and monitor check-in process. Special security features are also incorporated into the e-ticket's barcode to prevent illegal duplication and fraud.

How do I obtain an exhibition catalogue?

You will receive a complimentary copy of the exhibition catalogue upon your arrival to the show. If you only interested in purchasing the catalogue, please contact our office team on +44 (0)20 8877 3636 for more details after the show.

How do I find out who’s exhibiting at the show?

You can search our Exhibitor List by either using the A-Z search facility or by selecting a category to easily locate a company which is exhibiting. Click here to see our exhibitor list

Can I request information from exhibitors before getting to the show?

Use the Exhibitor List to find the company. A tick box on the right indicates if the exhibitor has an enquiry form available. Click the company name to view more details and use the enquiry form to request exhibitor information.

Does the venue have wheelchair access for the disabled?

Accessibility

The SECC main building has automatic doors at both East and West entrances. The Conference Centre has widened main entry doors, which a steward will be pleased to open for you.

All halls in the main building are situated on one level, and the upper levels of the Conference Centre, Loch Suite and Seminar Suite are all accessible by lift.

Travel by train

If traveling by train disembark at Exhibition Centre Station. A lift is available to take you from the train station to a covered walkway that leads directly to the East entrance of the main building.

Car Parking

Blue badge holders should use car park 3 for events in the main centre and car park 1 for events in the Clyde Auditorium. Both car parks are accessible from Finnieston Street. Disabled spaces are available on a first come, first served basis and normal parking rates apply.

Wheelchairs

A limited number of wheelchairs are available for use by visitors on a first come, first served basis. To check availability on the day of your visit, call our Medical Centre on 0141 275 6333.

Hearing Impairments

Public telephones on the concourse of the main building are available for patrons with hearing impairments. An induction loop audio system is fitted in the Clyde Auditorium.

Medical Centre

Our well-equipped Medical Centre is located on the concourse of the main building, toward the East entrance. Our highly qualified first aid staff will be pleased to help, or simply answer any queries you may have. First aid staff can be contacted directly at the medical centre, or through any member of our security staff.

Toilets

The SECC has wheelchair accessible toilets situated on the main concourse and in all exhibition/concert halls. Disabled toilets are also situated on all levels of the Clyde Auditorium. A steward will be present at all times to provide access to the toilets which are kept locked for the benefit of disabled visitors.

Yes.

Are cameras allowed on the show floor?

Video and camera equipment are not permitted to be brought into the exhibition floor with the exclusion of authorised personnel.

I just found out I can't attend for some reason. Can I get a refund on my seminar tickets?

There is no charge for seminar tickets at this show, thus the issue of refunds does not arise.
