Alex Kountourides

Alex Kountourides and Rob Davis embarked on their journey together back in primary school and have continued in attending the same university at undergraduate and master’s level. Having earmarked the property industry as the ideal vehicle to pursue their aspirations they understood the importance of integrity and knowledge and are currently working towards their accreditation from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), which they aim to complete in November.

During their training they noticed a recurring theme; a difficulty in finding and promoting property joint venture projects. The lack of a centralised platform, time and money inefficiencies in sourcing opportunities, disjointed processes of due diligence, and more problems hindered joint ventures. They developed the first property joint venture platform, Joining Ventures using technology to address these issues. Appealing to all experiences and knowledge levels, the platforms helps guide users through the joint venture process. They aim to increase transparency and accountability, whilst providing guidance with the knowledge they have accrued over their training period.

Denzel Matsaudza

We are building the UK’s first community of flat-sharers – all connected to each other as like-minded individuals. Our property management company helps young professionals living in London find the right place, with the right housemates. We aim to be a market leader in providing beautiful places to live for millennials.

Besides property, I have an aptitude for finance, numbers, and analytical thinking. In-between the serious stuff, I love football and hold a JFO level 1 coaching badge. I'm an avid Arsenal fan so as you can imagine I practice a lot of patience.

Semsettin Karahan

At 23, I became an associate director of an established architecture firm in London, within 12 months, I was able to strategically double their revenue, team size and offices. During this period, I believed that there was a strong industry gap to offer a more, complete and seamless client experience.

So I decided to bootstrap £300, a wealth of experience and over 30 different skills to create Zanoply.

Just over a year and a half later, we are now a small multi-award winning team of 4, delivering a 5 star rated service to clients from Greater London, South East England, Germany, Turkey and Dubai. Our mission is to make the planning permission process as predictable as we can for property investors across the UK.

Hasan Sadik

I started my letting agency from a cold start in September 2015 after having graduated with a law degree. I decided against becoming a barrister and instead started a business.

We are now specialising in HMO management through our brand Home-Share. There are five of us in total in the business working full time in the business and we are managing around 250 units. We’ve just started to expand across Kent and into South East London.
